Farrar focuses her practice on all areas of corporate law, including general corporate governance matters, business planning and transactions, and securities. Farrar has served as counsel to private and public companies with respect to mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and other complex business transactions. Her practice also includes counseling with respect to business planning and general corporate matters, including business organization, equity issuances, ongoing SEC compliance and other corporate governance issues. Farrar was formerly associated with the law firm Alston & Bird LLP in its corporate transactions and securities group.
Farrar graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in 2005 with Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She is a 2008 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law where she was a notes editor of The Georgia Law Review and inducted as a member of the Order of the Coif. She is a SMU Class Ambassador and recently served on the advisory board of HouseProud, a nonprofit organization providing no-cost repairs to low-income senior homeowners living in the greater downtown Atlanta neighborhoods.
