Feige Grundman concentrates her practice in all aspects of employment- and family-based immigration, including I-9 compliance and worksite enforcement, E-Verify, immigrant and nonimmigrant strategies for employing foreign nationals, and representation of companies before the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
While in law school, Ms. Grundman served as an intern for the Honorable Christine A. Ward, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Representative Matters
· Represented small, medium, and large (Fortune 500) domestic and multinational companies before the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
· Providing counsel on immigration compliance issues, including I-9, LCA, and E-Verify.
· Developed immigration policies/handbooks for corporations.
· Evaluated short and long term employment strategies for foreign nationals.
· Represented universities and companies seeking to temporarily/permanently employ scientists, professors, artists, athletes, and researchers (O-1, EB-1 Outstanding Researcher, EB-1 Extraordinary Ability, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions).
· Represented start-up companies seeking to invest in the United States (E-2) and/or employ intra-company transferees (new office L).
· Successfully defended an individual in removal proceedings in immigration court in a case involving an alleged crime of moral turpitude.
· Advised clients on maintaining permanent resident status during long periods of absence from the United States.
· Represented an individual in a family law mediation involving Hague Convention issues.
· Advised clients regarding expatriation, tax withholding for foreign nationals, and determining residency status in a tax law context.
Community Service & Affiliations
Ms. Grundman is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a volunteer for Philadelphia's Homeless Advocacy Project, and a member of the Blank Rome's United Way Committee. She is a board member for the Support Center for Child Advocates, serving as the Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee Liaison. Ms. Grundman also participates in the Ave Maria School of Law Mentorship Program.
Ms. Grundman was a clinic volunteer at the Haitian Recovery Center in Miami, Florida, and a volunteer for Footsteps to the Future, a mentoring program that teaches life skills to youth aging out of foster care in Southwest Florida.
From 2008-2010, Ms. Grundman served on the board of the Zonta Club of Bonita Springs, an organization dedicated to improving the circumstances of women through community service and fundraising.
