Biography

Professional Experience

Feng Xu, Ph.D. focuses his practice on complex pharmaceutical patent litigation and client counseling. He has worked on pharmaceutical cases involving patents relating to compounds, formulations, method claims and polymorphs.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Xu was a senior research scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. He is the leading inventor on U.S. Patent No. 6,895,340, an invention related to a method of molecular structure recognition. Dr. Xu is also a principal inventor on an innovative technology related to a configurable liquid component separation device. In addition to numerous publications on peer-reviewed journals, he has extensive research experience in drug discovery and pharmaceutical development, including drug-protein interactions, structure analysis, synthetic mechanism study, and instrument design and automation. While in law school, Dr. Xu was a member of Connecticut Journal of International Law, and published a book on Chinese legal culture.
