Practice/Industry Group Overview

Fennemore Craig has devoted a substantial portion of its practice to personal injury litigation since the turn of the century.  Thus, it was only natural that our lawyers would be involved in defending major product liability cases when the doctrine of strict liability emerged in the mid-1960s.  Our product liability clients range from large multi-national corporations to individuals.

The firm also represents clients in a variety of personal injury and business tort actions ranging from individual negligence actions to complex multi-party litigation.  Asbestos, railroad liability, insurance bad faith, subrogation, toxic torts, medical negligence and professional liability encompass a significant part of our tort practice.

On behalf of clients, we seek cost effective and practical resolutions, attempting to minimize lengthy litigation where possible.  At the same time, we serve as strong advocates and legal advisers, fully appreciating the increasingly complicated commercial environments clients face.  Our attorneys are experienced in arbitrations, mediations, and other methods of alternative dispute resolution.

Our attorneys have decades of experience litigating and trying cases.  This experience covers a broad range of cases defending clients against alleged negligence, property damage, slip and fall, premises liability, defamation, and wrongful death claims.  Our industry experience includes serving the transportation, heavy equipment, natural resources, sports and entertainment, manufacturing and retail sectors.  Fennemore Craig also represents certain individuals who have experienced an injury due to negligence, an accident, or willful misconduct.  This includes personal injury encompassing financial losses, public defamation, and wrongful death.
