Ferry P. Madian

Mr. Ferry P. Madian has worked with ABNR since 1986 and has been a partner since 1 January 1994. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 1985, majoring in Private International Law. In 1991 he was seconded to the largest law ¿rm in Benelux, and in 1993 earned an LL.M degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Washington in Seattle, USA, majoring in Asian Studies. He has extensive experience with capital market, banking & finance, and corporate matters, including corporate restructuring. He has also been involved in numerous mergers & acquisitions of companies throughout Indonesia as well as banks originating from Japan and Singapore. He was the Head of the ABNR team for the restructuring projects of the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (‘IBRA’), an autonomous government agency established in response to the Asian financial crisis. He is also one of the founders of the Indonesian Association for Receivers and Administrators, and served as its Secretary General from its inception in 1998 until 2002.
