Legal Alert/Article March 29, 2012, previously published on March 27, 2012 The Pennsylvania Supreme Court yesterday eliminated the Election Code requirement that circulators reside in the district in which they circulate petitions. The decision was unanimous and defers to a 2002 federal court decision that had been inconsistently followed by Pennsylvania courts.
