Fontán Balestra & Asociados is a boutique law firm highly specialized in Criminal Law. It is the oldest criminal law firm in Buenos Aires and was founded by Juan Balestra, Minister of Justice and Public Instruction during the administration of President Carlos Pelleegrin (1890). Later in time, FB&A acquired its national renown due to Carlos Fontán Balestra (I) who wrote dozens of books among which are the manuals and treatises of Criminal Law still used by students, lawyers and judges. Since 1976 the Firm has been in charge of Carlos Fontán Balestra (II) who gave to it a strong professional impulse, placing it within the most important and best respected criminal law firm in the country.

Nowadays Fontán Balestra & Asociados is composed of 4 partners and its main goal is to provide a personalized and complete legal assistance to our clients in any area related to Criminal Law.
