About this office: Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar was formed in December of 1991 by G. Richard Ford, Timothy L. Walker, William C. Haggerty and Jeffrey S. Behar. The four founding partners, all former senior partners at the law offices of Shield & Smith, sought to build upon their longtime tradition of service to the insurance industry by creating a new firm dedicated to the aggressive, cost efficient, service-oriented practice of law with the highest standards of ethical responsibility. Although the majority of the firm's practice is concentrated in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar also engages in all phases of litigation in federal and state courts in San Diego, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Kern Counties. In addition, the firm has been retained by its insurance industry clients to act as regional and/or national coordinating counsel with respect to interstate litigation. In order to continue to provide the legal services clients want, the firm is dedicated to remaining adaptable to the changes of the nineties and to actively promote the early efficient resolution to all litigation.
