Practice/Industry Group Overview

The Government Contract Group has the expertise to ensure that corporate practices and procedures comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS), federal, state and local statutes and are consistent with corporate policies and procedures. Along with review of typical government contract documents, we prepare and negotiate special agreements such as teaming agreements, international contracts, and joint ventures, and handle all litigation matters involving contracts and agreements of the corporation. We also can serve as ethics and compliance officers.

Our lawyers are experienced in and have been involved in business strategy planning, source selections, negotiations, funding problems, disputes and drafting of specialized contractual provisions. We also are experienced in licensing of patents, technical data and computer software developed under Government Contracts. We regularly conduct client counseling in areas of trade secrets, technology transfer and rights in computer software to defense contractors.
