François Renaud is the coordinator of the firm's Private Financing Group. He practises mainly in the area of syndicated commercial lending and, as such, regularly represents and advises large syndicates of lenders and borrowers in the structuring of credit facilities and the negotiation and drafting of the appropriate legal documentation (including credit agreements, security documents, agreements between lenders, and legal opinions).
He has also acted in several major cross-border financings during his practice.
In addition, Mr. Renaud represents and advises clients in connection with purchases and sales of assets and shares, corporate reorganizations, and the implementation of various commercial contracts.

He represented Héroux-Devtek Inc. and its Canadian and American subsidiaries with respect to the renewal of a $150,000,000 revolving credit facility
He represented the entity created for purposes of the acquisition of the Montreal Canadiens hockey franchise, as well as the franchise itself for the implementation of credit facilities granted to them
He represented a lending syndicate with respect to the implementation of operating lines of credit of $110,000,000 granted to an important transportation company with its head office in Quebec, and to its Canadian and US subsidiaries
He represented an important manufacturer in Quebec and its foreign subsidiaries in connection with the implementation of $60,000,000 in term credit facilities, operating lines of credit of $45,000,000, and a subordinated loan of $25,000,000.
