Frank Brewster is a Partner in the Corporate Commercial and Real Estate Group in the Guelph office of Miller Thomson. Frank has practised primarily in the areas of corporate, commercial and real estate law in Guelph since 1973.
Frank counsels a diverse range of clients, primarily in the manufacturing, construction and agricultural sector in all aspects of corporate and commercial law including commercial real estate, leases, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, general and corporate agreements, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.
His practice also includes advising institutional, not-for-profit and charitable organizations in the areas of education, health, agriculture, children's homes and senior's housing.
Additionally, Frank has strong expertise providing legal services for families and individuals, including wills, estate planning and powers of attorney.
His broad experience and skills enable him to understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of each client's business. From this Frank provides the most effective legal advice for each client in a timely and results-oriented manner.
Frank attended the University of Waterloo, Osgoode Hall Law School, and articled at a prominent Toronto law firm prior to being called to the Ontario Bar in 1973. He received his Queen's Counsel designation in 1984.
Also active in the community, Frank is an Elder at Kortright Presbyterian Church and a board member of the Kiwanis Music Festival, South America Mission. He is a current and founding board member of Hopewell Children's Homes, Guelph & District Christian Homes and Parkside Christian Senior's Residences.
