Mr. Ierulli concentrates his practice in creditors' rights and municipal law. In his governmental practice, he represents municipalities, water districts, housing and airport authorities. His governmental litigation experience ranges from minor ordinance violations and administrative hearings, up to and including, complex murder cases.
Prior to joining Howard & Howard, Mr. Ierulli worked for the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office as the Chief Civil Assistant where he provided legal counsel and representation to the Chair of the Peoria County Board, the County Administrator as well as elected and appointed county officials. He was also primary counsel on employment law matters. Mr. Ierulli received a B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago in 1988 and a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 1992.
Mr. Ierulli is currently a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Abraham Lincoln Inns of Court. Throughout his career, he has been active in several community organizations including the W.D. Boyce Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Moss-Bradley Residential Association, Heart of Illinois Harvest and Peoria Riverfront Museum. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
Mr. Ierulli is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He currently serves as a commissioner for the City of Peoria Zoning Board of Appeals.
