Biography

Fred L. Somers, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School and College of Arts and Sciences. He is a member of the American, Georgia, Atlanta and Virginia Bar Associations and American Society of Association Executives. Mr. Somers is a past president of the National Club Association and a director of NCA Foundation. He is general counsel to the National Golf Car Manufacturers Association and is a past Chairman, Government Relations Committee, Georgia State Golf Association. He serves as a director of Trademark Golf Management, LLC, a golf course management company, is counsel and consultant to numerous private clubs and has served as president and a board member of private clubs. Mr. Somers concentrates in golf and recreational club organization, governance and development. He is listed in Who's Who in American Law and has an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell rating.
