Fred Rubinoff is a partner in our Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. His practice includes secured transactions, construction financing, asset purchases and sales, land development and shopping centre and office leasing.
Mr. Rubinoff's recent experience includes:
· acting for GE in credit facilities for Hudson's Bay Company;
· acting for GE in purchase of assets and units from Dundee REIT;
· acting for GE regarding hotel construction credit facility for Hotel Arts, Calgary
· acting for Toronto Transit Commission in development of head office site;
· acting for Canadian and US institutional investors on issues of senior secured notes by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd. and investors on issues of senior secured notes for financing of Casino Niagara;
· acting for GE regarding credit facilities to InnVest REIT;
· acting for The Toronto-Dominion Bank sale/lease-back of General Motors head office site;
Mr. Rubinoff is listed in the 2004-2011 editions of Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers as a leading lawyer in the area of real estate law. He also appears in the 2005-2011 editions of the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, a guide to the leading law firms and practitioners in Canada, as a leading lawyer in the area of property development. Mr. Rubinoff received his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1984. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1986.
