Mr. Hoensch is a member of the Firm's Business Services Department in the Creditors' Rights and Business Restructuring Practice Group and handles a wide variety of creditors' rights, bankruptcy and real estate litigation matters. He has represented lenders, landlords, tenants, owners, contractors and subcontractors in commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy court litigation, suits against guarantors, loan workouts, confessions of judgment, commercial and residential leases, landlord-tenant disputes, collection matters and construction litigation. Mr. Hoensch previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable James Murray Lynn in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Civil Trial Division. He also served as a court-appointed mediator of Landlord/Tenant and Small Claims disputes for the Municipal Court of Philadelphia.

Bankruptcy Law
Mr. Hoensch's bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, commercial landlords and various other types of business entities in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and bankruptcy litigation including preference, fraudulent transfer and turnover actions. He has also represented debtors in successful Chapter 11 cases and official and unofficial committees. Mr. Hoensch's experience includes:
· Representation of industrial coatings manufacturer in successful Chapter 11 case.
· Representation of secured lender in Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of large regional real estate developer.
· Representation of various publicly-traded commercial leasing companies in tenant bankruptcies in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of Delaware, District of New Jersey, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Southern District of California.
· Co-counsel to Official Committees of Retirees in several Chapter 11 cases.
· Representation of defendants in numerous preference and fraudulent transfer adversary proceedings.
· Representation of creditors in the bankruptcy cases of TH Properties, LP, Philadelphia Newspapers, LLC, Brighten Health Group, LLC, Advanta Corp., Circuit City Stores., American Home Mortgage, Mortgage Lenders Network of America, MAXjet, SemCrude, eToys, Hayes Lemmerz, Intermet Corp., DBSI, Inc., Dayton Superior Corp., Masonite Corp., Source Interlink, Dial-a-Mattress, NWL Holdings, Idleaire, Trump, Gateway Computers, St. Vincent's Medical Centers, and Dura Automotive, among others.
Real Estate Litigation
Mr. Hoensch handles a wide variety of real estate litigation, representing lenders, landlords, tenants, owners, contractors and subcontractors in commercial mortgage foreclosures, confessions of judgment, suits against guarantors, loan workouts, commercial leasing, landlord-tenant disputes, construction litigation and collection matters. Mr. Hoensch's experience includes:
· Representation of lenders in connection with commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, Northampton and Berks Counties.
· Representation of lenders in foreclosure actions and subsequent sheriff's sales of large housing developments in the greater Philadelphia area.
· Representation of secured creditors in connection with UCC Article 9 sales.
· Representation of publicly-traded commercial leasing companies in landlord-tenant litigation in both state and federal courts.
· Representation of owners, contractors and subcontractors in mechanics' lien disputes.
Creditors' Rights Practice
Mr. Hoensch has also handles a variety of collections matters, including judgment executions, garnishments, attachments, execution sales, UCC Article 9 sales, and discovery in aid of execution.
