Frédéric Harvey is a senior partner in our Tax Group in Montréal.
With expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, international taxation and corporate reorganizations, Mr. Harvey provides our client base with strategic tax advice on complex business transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions both cross-border and domestic and exchangeable share transactions representing foreign acquirers or Canadian targets. He has also advised on structuring foreign investments in Canada and in structuring renewable energy projects.
Mr. Harvey also acts as the firm's Tax Group liaison for the Québec region.
The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory ranks Mr. Harvey as a leading lawyer in corporate tax. He is also rated by Martindale-Hubbell and he is noted for his mergers and acquisitions work in the International Tax Review Guide, World Tax 2009.
Mr. Harvey completed his law degree at Université de Montréal in 1986 and his Masters in taxation at Université de Sherbrooke in 1989.
He was called to the Québec bar in 1987.
