Frederic Nessler is a life-long resident of Central Illinois. In 1974, Mr. Nessler graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, College of Agriculture. Frederic Nessler started his practice in Lincoln Illinois after graduating cum laude from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent I November of 1977. Mr. Nessler has also completed courses in Advanced Trial Advocacy Skills from the nation Institute of Trial Advocacy; completed Advanced Courses in Trial Advocacy from the National College of Advocacy; and completed a Trial Technique Institute at Lawyers Post Graduate Clinic.
Throughout his career, Frederic Nessler has been very active member of the legal community as member and officer of several key organizations. Mr. Nessler is a member of American Bar Association for Justice, where he has served on the Medical Negligence Committee as well as the Product Liability Committee. Frederic is also a member of Illinois Trial Lawyers where he has served as a Member of the Board of Managers, a Member of the Legislative Committee, a Member of the Executive Committee, as well as Treasurer and Secretary. He is also a past member of the Tort Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is a member of American Bar Association and was named a Fellow of the American Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Sangamon County Bar Association and a past President of the Logan County Bar Association. He was recently named by the Illinois Super Lawyers and Chicago Magazine as one of the top attorneys in the State of Illinois for 2010, an honor presented to less than 5 percent of the lawyer in the state each year. He was also named as one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers in the State of Illinois by the American Association of Trial Lawyers for the years of 2008 and 2009.
He is currently the principal of The Law Offices of Frederic W. Nessler & Associates, Ltd., has presented and continues to represent injured persons and workers in all varieties of injury cases throughout Illinois. Mr. Nessler practices plaintiffs' personal injury law handling catastrophic injury cases including vehicular injury, workers compensation, defective products, clergy misconduct, chemical exposure, explosions and fire, premises liability, animal attacks and medical negligence. Today, he maintains five office locations throughout the State of Illinois; Springfield, Decatur, Lincoln, Urbana and Chicago. He has achieved outstanding results for his clients, including a 25 million and a multi million dollar recoveries in a variety of tort cases in the last quarter century with highest result for one client being 14.2 million dollars.
He has supervised and delivered numerous lectures including, but not limited to the topics of the Clergy Abuse, Car and Vehicular Accidents and Initial Preparation of Cases for Trial. He has also presented lectures with the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education on the topic of Vehicular Accidents. Mr. Nessler has presented national lectures on Ethics in Attorney Advertising.
In addition to his professional involvement and achievement, Frederic Nessler remains an active member of his community. Mr. Nessler is devoted Christian who maintains a healthy balance between work and faith. Frederic is Board Member of the Calvary Temple Christian Center and past Athletic Steering Committee Chair for the Calvary Academy. Mr. Nessler is also a member of Illinois State Fair Advisory Board.
