Fred Vandeveer has practiced trusts and estates law and tax-exempt organizations law since 1980. Mr. Vandeveer is Partner in Charge of the Rancho Santa Fe office. Mr. Vandeveer has significant experience in all areas of estate planning and probate/trust administration, including planning for large and sophisticated estates, planning international estates, handling complex probate and trust matters, and advising clients on all aspects of charitable planned giving. He also has substantial expertise in representing tax-exempt organizations, including numerous private foundations.
Mr. Vandeveer has lectured and written often in his fields of expertise, including estate planning, planned charitable giving, probate and trust, and tax-exempt organizations. He has represented numerous tax-exempt organizations and foundations. Because of his expertise in estate planning and planned charitable giving, Mr. Vandeveer has a special interest in establishing and representing family foundations.
