Fred is an associate in the firm's Boston office, where he practices in the Real Estate Section.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Fred was counsel for a real estate development and management company specializing in supermarket-anchored shopping centers. His responsibilities included negotiating and drafting leases and purchase and sale agreements, reviewing and negotiating loan financing documents, and closing the borrower's side of loans. He also reviewed construction contracts, prepared and presented applications for development permits before town boards and commissions, and reviewed title and environmental documents.
Fred also previously had a private general practice with an emphasis on residential and commercial real estate, corporate and business law, wills, trusts and probate, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.
Fred began his legal career with another large Boston law firm, practicing real estate and corporate law.
Fred received his B.A. from Brown University in 1980, and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1987. He currently serves as clerk for the Planning Board of Mansfield, Massachusetts.
