Frenkel Lambert Weiss Weisman & Gordon, LLP was formed in October 2008 when the law firms of Eschen, Frenkel, Wesiman & Gordon, LLP and Lambert & Weiss merged. At that time, these well established and respected firms had collectively served the insurance and banking industries for over 77 years. Today, Frenkel Lambert's clients receive a unique blend of experience, integrity and tactical litigation skills coupled with a commitment to efficient and cost effective representation.

Frenkel Lambert's roots are grounded in the representation of financial institutions. Our firm has two main practice groups insurance liability litigation and mortgage banking litigation. Our insurance liability practice group represents insurance companies, bonding companies and self-insured corporations in matters involving fidelity claims, surety claims, professional liability claims, coverage issues, ERISA, defense of complex bodily injury and property damage claims (GL and specialty polices), large loss subrogation, labor law, environmental claims and product liability litigation. Our mortgage banking litigation practice group handles matters and claims involving foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, predatory lending, truth-in-lending violations, title defects, fraud (mortgage broker, straw borrower), Fair Debt Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) violations, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) violations and wrongful foreclosure.

Frenkel Lambert has offices located in New York (New York City, Long Island & Buffalo), New Jersey (West Orange) and Florida (Fort Lauderdale). We handle cases throughout each state. We also provide litigation support to our clients in matters pending in jurisdictions across the United States. We are Fannie Mae designated counsel for New York and New Jersey.
