In each client-attorney relationship, our Health Care attorneys consider themselves a key strategic partner, ensuring our continued success and compliance with the law, particularly as the health care industry changes in response to competitive marketplace forces, new payor arrangements, and governmental regulation. We integrate our strengths in such fields and draw upon the knowledge of attorneys in other Practice Groups (including our Public Finance, Labor and Employment,Corporate, Securities, and Transactions, Tax, Real Estate Litigation, Intellectual Property and Technology, and Trusts and Estates) and our attorneys with knowledge in administrative law and litigation. As a result, the Health Care Practice Group offers sound and creative solutions for each client, and our breadth of practice and experience distinguishes us from other law firms.
Paving the Way with Our Health Care Practice
To the best of our knowledge, Fulbright & Jaworski was the first large general practice law firm to organize a health care practice group when, in 1979, we brought together a highly knowledgeable group of attorneys devoted exclusively to the representation of health care clients. The synergy created by the Health Care Practice Group has fueled our growth from the original six dedicated attorneys in the Houston office to a current level of several dozen Health Care attorneys in our offices in Houston, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Minneapolis.
These attorneys are recognized for their track records in:
- Transactional Practice
- Professional Liability/Medical Malpractice
- General Tort and Commercial Litigation
- Administrative and Regulatory Representation
