Mark practices in the area of financial services and business transactions. He represents major banks and financial institutions in a wide-range of financing transactions and restructurings together with bankruptcy, debtor/creditor issues, commercial lending and business litigation. He also represents small to mid-size companies with their formation, organization, ownership agreements and acquisitions. Mark is panel arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

•Represented Bank in connection with a $12.5 million revolving credit facility with respect to a residential real estate development.
•Represented client in a $19 million sale of stock in a regional entertainment facility.
•Represented national real estate investment company in connection with a negotiation and acquisition of a commercial office property in Des Moines in lieu of foreclosure.
•Represented client in the acquisition of twelve (12) pharmacies in the upper Midwest.
•Represented an agri-business company in connection with a $160 million credit facility.
•Represented regional aggregate products company in a $43 million sale of quarry properties and subsequent $25 million acquisition of quarry operations.

•Represented Bank in connection with revolving and term credit facilities in the amount of $4 million provided to a Des Moines based retailer.
•Represented Bank in connection with an $8.7 million credit facility for the acquisition of an equipment supplier.

•Represented Bank in a $6.9 million term facility for construction of a hotel property.
•Represented Bank in connection with a $12 million term loan facility secured by 8,000 acres of agricultural real estate.
