G. Richard Dodge Jr. is a partner in the Washington office of Mayer Brown's Litigation practice. Rich concentrates his practice on civil litigations, arbitrations, governmental investigations and internal reviews, particularly in the insurance industry. He has successfully represented insurers and reinsurers in coverage disputes concerning, among other lines of insurance, professional liability, political risk, commercial risk, employer's liability, product liability, environmental liability, and excess liability insurance. He has successfully defended major insurers and financial services clients in market conduct and consumer fraud class actions, antitrust and RICO class actions, ERISA and securities fraud class actions, concerning variable annuity and life products as well as excess casualty insurance. He has also successfully litigated complex breach of contract actions on behalf of large property/casualty insurers and reinsurers.
