Practice/Industry Group Overview
The Appellate Team members are experienced in handling both domestic and international matters in U.S. federal and state courts. The Firm handles appeals of cases tried by Gardere lawyers as well as cases tried by outside counsel. Our clients include individuals, and public and private companies, ranging from small companies to Fortune 500 corporations.
Each member of the Appellate Team is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and/or is a former law clerk for an appellate court. Additionally, the head of the Team was among the first to be Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law in the state of Texas in 1987, and has served as a justice on the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas.
