Gary J. Bradley brings a wide array of business and legal experience to Bradley & Gmelich. He attended San Diego State University in 1984, where he was named the most outstanding graduate in the Criminal Justice Administration/Public Administration department. He earned his J.D. degree in 1989 from Southwestern University School of Law.
After graduating law school, Mr. Bradley joined an insurance defense firm. He specialized in real estate broker and agent professional malpractice liability issues and personal injury defense.
Mr. Bradley then established his own practice specializing in Business Reorganization, Tax and Bankruptcy. He handled numerous Chapter 7 and 11 Bankruptcy matters and represented clients before the collection division of the Internal Revenue Service and various State taxing authorities. Mr. Bradley also counseled clients in general matters, including business entity formation, employment, real estate, and operational issues.
Mr. Bradley then applied his legal experience in the business arena. He served as President and Chief Legal Officer for an international medical device manufacturer. He directed all operational, legal, sales and marketing activities and implemented a successful marketing campaign for an FDA-regulated business. He also served as Director of Software Engineering/Project Management for a large financial services firm.
Mr. Bradley now heads the firms' business transaction team, specializing in entity formation, acquisitions, regulatory and administrative compliance. Mr. Bradley uses his breadth of real-world business and legal knowledge to meet the various needs of the firm's clients.
