Representative Matters
· Represented purchaser of psychiatric hospital from major Philadelphia hospital for which he handled all real estate components of acquisition of hospital campus;
· Represented Philadelphia based university on ongoing basis in range of real estate matters including building acquisitions and leasing. Devised a strategy that divested a fraternity's interest in real estate on "rule against perpetuities" argument;
· Represented the equity interests in the largest pre-packaged bankruptcy filed in Eastern Pennsylvania in a series of 38 separate bankruptcies involving 23 properties, over 2,000 limited partners, 2,500 residential tenants and over $250 million in defaulted obligations, and handled all of the real estate and financing components of the transaction;
· Represented national financial services company headquartered in Philadelphia in connection with the leasing of its offices nationwide;
· Represented shopping center owners in connection with numerous financings;
· Represented owners of large tracts of undeveloped land in Chester County, Pennsylvania in connection with sale and development of property;
· Represented Philadelphia area real estate developers in connection with sales, acquisitions and financings of office buildings;
· Represented a company in connection with its nationwide consignment sales of postage and advised on UCC Article 9 compliance issues;
· Represented nonprofit corporation with large endowment and acted as corporate counsel during period of acquisition and development of its corporate facilities.
