Notable recent transactions that he has advised on include:

(i) advising Cayman fund on its issuance of secured and guaranteed corporate notes to raise US$900 million from qualified institutional buyers;

(ii) advising on insolvency proceedings relating to a group of Cayman hedge funds in liquidation in the Cayman Islands and in Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S.A.,

(iii) advising US Fund Manager on its US$2.5 billion fund raising through its Cayman Islands domiciled entity to acquire international restaurant chain from the NYSE;

(iv) advising a Bermuda based insurance services group, Investors Guaranty Assurance, on its US$39.2 million merger and corporate restructuring of its Cayman Islands domiciled entities;

(v) advising US investment bank, JPMorgan Chase, on its US$150 million bridging loan to a Brazilian investment group via one of the group's Cayman Islands domiciled investment funds and the security arrangements in respect of the loan;

(vi) advising on the US$30 million disposal of a Cayman Islands banking/fund administration/trust and insurances services group, Caledonian Group.
