Gary Catron's practice is focused on oil and gas litigation. He has tried oil and gas cases to juries and to the court both in federal and state courts.
He is the author of "The Operator's 'Fiduciary' Duty to Royalty and Working Interest Owners," 64 Oklahoma Bar Journal 2763 and has presented continuing legal education papers on coalbed methane, gas balancing, oil and gas legislation and other topics.
Gary's achievements have earned him inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (energy law, oil and gas law).

· Representation of oil and gas companies in a variety of oil and gas disputes, including drilling costs, gas contracts, farmouts, joint operating agreements, lease broker claims and drilling contracts.
· Representation of energy companies in class action claims by royalty owners for alleged underpayments for post-production costs, scrubber oil and gas pricing.
· Representation of energy companies in crude oil sales disputes, including antitrust claims against common carrier pipeline.
· Representation in MMS determination of Indian royalties.
· Representation of companies against claims by the State of Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office.
· Representation of coalbed methane working interest owners in purchase/sale dispute.
· Representation of gas plant owners.
· Representation of energy companies in matters regarding oilfield pollution, including leaks and spills of crude oil and frac fluids.
