Genevieve Weiner is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she is a member of the firm's Corporate Department and its Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group.
Since joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Weiner has represented debtors and creditors in both out-of-court restructurings and bankruptcies, including significant experience in adversary litigation. She has represented diverse clients including Rio Properties, Inc., Scotia Pacific Company LLC and First Private Bank & Trust.
Ms. Weiner earned her law degree in 2007 from Pepperdine University, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her time at Pepperdine, Ms. Weiner served as Lead Articles Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. In 2007, Ms. Weiner was awarded the Outstanding Bankruptcy Law Student Award by the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2004, receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Rhetoric, with a minor in Philosophy.
