Genny Na is an associate in our Toronto office. Ms. Na was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. She graduated from McMaster University in 1998. She received her Bachelors of Law from the University of Western in 2001.

Professional Experience
· Genny acts on behalf of both provincially and federally regulated employers and employees.
· Genny advises employers in labour and employment matters with respect to: employee terminations, severance packages, employee discipline, employment policies and handbooks, employment standards, negotiating collective agreements, fraud prevention, human rights matters including sexual harassment and discrimination issues, worker's compensation, and occupational health and safety.
· Genny has considerable experience advising employers on issues involving a sale or acquisition of a business, particularly vendor and purchaser liability with respect to employee transfers.
· Genny also advises employees on wrongful dismissal matters, severance packages, and human rights matters.
· Genny has represented employers in administrative proceedings, including appearing before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and Appeals Tribunal, and federal and provincial employment standards proceedings. She also represents employers at arbitration.
· Genny has experience in drafting employment contracts, non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, and executive severance packages.
· Genny has also been in-house labour and employment counsel on secondment to Loblaws Companies Limited.
