Geoff Schwartz concentrates his practice on general business and corporate matters, including:
· mergers and acquisitions
· venture capital and private equity funding transactions
· business formation and planning
· public and private offerings
Mr. Schwartz advises public and private companies, venture capital firms, private equity firms, emerging companies and entrepreneurs on a variety of matters, including formation and operation, corporate governance, intellectual property and licensing, and employment-related matters. He also assists companies in capital-raising transactions, including early- and later-stage venture capital financings and debt financings. In addition, Mr. Schwartz advises companies on transactional matters and has worked on a number of merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Schwartz also assists clients with regard to securities regulation, registration, regulation and governance of organizations involved in the investment management industry, and SEC filings, statements and disclosure reports.
