Mr. Rosamond's practice is concentrated in criminal defense and commercial litigation in federal and state court. He has represented corporations and individuals in a broad array of criminal and regulatory investigations and proceedings involving allegations of mail and wire fraud, insider trading, theft, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, commercial bribery and bribery of public officials, securities fraud and money laundering. Mr. Rosamond has experience advising corporate and individual clients in all aspects of the criminal process, from grand jury investigations through post-indictment proceedings; responding to search warrants, subpoenas and requests for information; and achieving favorable dispositions of regulatory and criminal cases brought by the federal and state governments through negotiations or trial.
Mr. Rosamond also counsels and assists corporations in implementing effective corporate compliance and ethics programs to prevent and detect unlawful conduct before it develops into more serious issues. He has extensive practical experience in crafting proactive compliance and ethics programs for corporations in regulated and non-regulated industries. In addition, Mr. Rosamond has broad experience conducting effective internal corporate investigations to mitigate the impact of any detected misconduct and minimize the corporation's exposure to civil and criminal punishment. Mr. Rosamond serves as the Chairman on the firm's Pro Bono Committee and is a Steering Committee Member for the Newark Reentry Legal Services ("ReLeSe") Network. Mr. Rosamond was selected by the Essex County Bar Association to receive the 2012 Bernard J. Kuttner Pro Bono Service Award.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosamond served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office from 1997 until 2000 where he handled a variety of criminal prosecutions for robbery, drug offenses, aggravated assault, theft, eluding and burglary. He has also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Patrick F.X. Fitzpatrick, Judge of the Superior Court, Civil Division, in Bergen County, New Jersey from 1996 until 1997.

Defended the central figure charged with bribing several United States public officials during the coalition forces efforts to rebuild Iraq.

Conducted numerous internal investigations involving allegations of insider trading, bribery, bid-rigging, embezzlement and other alleged employee misconduct, including internal investigations for a public biopharmaceutical company involving allegations of insider trading, an international insurance brokerage firm involving allegations of bid-rigging, and a public national home builder involving allegations of bribery of a public official.
Complex Commercial Disputes
Represented clients in numerous complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and conversion, including handling litigation throughout the United States to recover over $85 million on behalf of one of the world's leading electronic manufacturers.
Comprehensive Compliance and Ethics Program
Developed a comprehensive compliance and ethics program for a private, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization to dissuade regulators from pursuing criminal and civil proceedings.
Obtained dismissal of State theft by deception charges against an executive of a sales and marketing company after convincing the United States Attorney's Office to forgo prosecution.
Defended a home health agency investigated by the Attorney General's Office for health care fraud, resulting in no charges being filed.
Persuaded the United States Attorney's Office to forgo prosecution of a pharmaceutical company investigated for alleged internet crimes involving pharmaceutical prescriptions.
Defended a medical doctor in parallel criminal and regulatory proceedings involving alleged internet crimes by the United States Attorney's Office and various State Medical Boards of Examiners.
Represented numerous adults and juveniles charged with various criminal, quasi-criminal and serious traffic offenses in State and Municipal court.
