George Watson is an associate in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, where he works on real estate, environmental, and land use matters. Mr. Watson has worked on various projects, including representation of a wireless telecommunications company and a tower construction company in their tower leasing and siting work. He has represented commercial and institutional lenders and private financiers in mortgage loan financing and refinancing transactions, construction loans, affordable housing loans, bond-financed loans, conduit loans, and tax credit transactions. He also has represented clients engaged in the disposition and acquisition of commercial property.
Mr. Watson's real estate clients include landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, owners, and lenders regarding the sale, acquisition, financing, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate.

- Represent an academic institution in connection with its relocation to a new 350-student campus to be built in conjunction with a private multifamily, 120-unit condominium. Representation included drafting and negotiation of the purchase and sale agreement with the property owner and the joint venture agreement with the private real estate developer. Handling all due diligence, design, permitting, construction, and financing-related aspects of the project on the school's behalf.
