Background
George Wray is a lawyer in our Toronto office. George was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2006. George obtained his law degree from Queen's University where he was awarded several course prizes and awards.
Prior to completing his Law degree, George received an Honours Bachelor of Philosophy and a M.A. in Philosophy from Queen's University. George also holds an LL.M from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
Areas of Practice
George practices civil litigation, including insurance law, accident benefits claims, product liability, municipal and policy liability and professional negligence, and has advocated for his clients at administrative tribunals and at all levels of Ontario Courts, including the Court of Appeal.
Professional Experience
ˇ defending personal injury, property, professional and police negligence, and product liability actions on behalf of insurance companies, municipalities and corporate clients;
ˇ advising insurance clients on coverage issues and disputes;
ˇ defending actions involving specific legislation, such as the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997.
