Mr. Titus' primary area of practice is general civil litigation, including product liability defense, personal injury litigation and trucking accidents. Mr. Titus also practices in Marcellus & Utica Shale law.
Representative Experience
· Experienced in litigating matters in state and federal courts in West Virginia
· Defended product liability claims against manufacturers of medical devices, wheelchairs, pain pumps, oxygen delivery systems, pharmaceuticals, firearms, automobiles, construction and manufacturing equipment, mining equipment and respiratory protection equipment
· Represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions, trucking and automobile accidents, class actions, contract disputes, consumer litigation and premises liability claims
· Negotiated favorable resolutions of disputes, including representing clients in mediation
· Experienced in coordinating local and national litigation with corporate counsel and national counsel
Government Experience
· Served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia, prosecuting violent federal crimes, including firearms offenses and bank robbery, 2007 - 2009
· Represented the United States in the investigation, indictment, trial and appeal of violent criminal cases in federal court
