Jerry regularly advises and represents private and public companies in a broad range of employment, trade secret protection, business and unfair competition, and compliance matters.
His employment and business litigation practice is national in scope. In more than 10 years at Husch Blackwell, he has served as lead counsel on significant trade secret, restrictive covenant and unfair business litigation for Fortune 500 companies in more than 30 state and federal courts across the country. His wage and hour and OFCCP compliance practice is similarly extensive. Jerry has successfully defended numerous nationwide and site-specific audits of companies' operations and practices, including employee classification, affirmative action and related federal contractor audits.
With his diverse employment, business litigation and compliance background, Jerry is adept at developing and implementing trade secret protections and internal compliance programs for a variety of industries, from foremost financial institutions to leaders in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing and transportation industries.
Jerry is a member of the firm's Diversity Council.

· Successfully defended and favorably settled nationwide class action and FLSA collective action based on alleged employee/independent contractor misclassification of drivers for national courier service (2009-2010)
· Successfully defended and favorably resolved Department of Labor, OFCCP compliance action of alleged discriminatory hiring impact by federal contractor based on physical abilities testing and testing validation procedures for major international steel manufacturer (2008-2009)
· As lead counsel, obtained $1.1 million judgment for national retail chain on software development and copyright infringement claim (TVI, Inc. v. InfoSoft Technologies, Inc., 2008 WL 239784 E.D.Mo.)
