| Biography | Goh Kuan Hock graduated from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand with a LLB degree. He was called to the New Zealand Bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1991, the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in December 1992 and the New South Wales Bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2002. He began his legal practice in 1993. He joined Skrine in 1996 and became a partner in January 2001. He left Skrine in February 2002 to enrich his legal practice experience in Sydney, Australia, for three years. He recommenced his partnership in Skrine in July 2005. Kuan Hock's principal area of practice in property & real estate and banking & finance. His approach emphasizes innovative planning and practical solutions to complex issues. As an individual, Kuan Hock is also committed to the principle that lawyers should apply their legal skills and knowledge in the area of individual social responsibility. He, therefore, engages himself in various pro bono civic activities by volunteering in charitable organizations within the community he lives in.
