Gonzalo María Gros

Gonzalo María Gros joined JP O'Farrell Abogados in April 2005 and was promoted to partnership in April 2009. He was Secretary for the Commercial Court N26 from 1998 to 2003 and worked as senior associate in Brons & Salas from 2003 to 2005. In 1998, he attended the Updating Program on Corporate Law, postgraduate course on Business law, granted by the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law. Since 1994, he is Professor of the course "Sociedades Civiles y Comerciales" (Civil and Commercial Entities), University of Buenos Aires, School of Law. He published articles on: "Conversión de la quiebra en concurso preventivo. Efectos del fracaso del proceso de conversión" (Co-author with Laura Filippi); in the "II Congreso Iberoamericano de la Insolvencia" (article on bankruptcy) He participated as lecturer in several courses related to legal proceeding: "Curso Teórico Práctico sobre procesos de ejecución"(theoretical and practical course on summary proceedings), "Curso sobre procesos de Conocimiento" (Course on regular proceedings), organized by Fundación para la Investigación y Desarrollo de las Ciencias Jurídicas, 2002 (Non-for-profit organization for the investigation and development of legal Sciences); "Curso sobre verificación de créditos;: supuestos especiales" (Course on credits verification), organized by the Consejo Profesional de Ciencias Económicas de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires , 2003. From 2000 to 2003, he participated in the organization of magazine published by the Asociación de Magistrados y Funcionarios de la Justicia Nacional (Association of Magistrates and Members of the Judicial System) and he was also member of the organizing committee for the "Seminario de Actualización sobre Derecho Constitucional Económico" (Updating Seminar on Economic Constitutional Law) and for the "Seminario de Actualización sobre Derecho Informático" (Updating Seminar on computer law, electronic commerce and law) organized by the association before mentioned (2001-2002).
