About this office:

Gosma, Tarbox & Associates possesses expertise and capabilities greater then its size might indicate. Its lawyers are experienced and sophisticated in the areas in which they practice. John Gosma has practiced law since 1969, when he completed an appointment as a law clerk for the Iowa Supreme Court. He then practiced in business, transactional, banking and real estate law until 1987 with the firm of Rehling, Lindburg & Gosma, which subsequently merged with a larger firm. Marie Tarbox had several years of banking, probate and trust experience before entering private practice with a twenty member firm in 1990. John and Marie decided in 1992 that they could better serve their clients in a small firm atmosphere. In 1998, they were joined by Jim Noth. Jim had been a sole practitioner practicing in probate, trusts, estates and real estate law for many years before joining Gosma, Tarbox & Associates. David Mahl has practiced primarily in personal injury law for approximately ten years. He is engaged in general practice, with an emphasis on litigation.

Gosma, Tarbox & Associates practices primarily in those areas in which its attorneys have substantial experience and expertise, including business and banking law and transactions, elder law, trusts, estates and estate planning, residential and commercial real estate, and litigation in business, probate, trust, personal injury, and real estate cases. We have chosen not to attempt to provide services in all areas of the law. This approach allows us to serve our clients efficiently, and to provide the highest quality services at a reasonable cost.
