Professional Experience
Ms. Shin's practice involves real estate transactional matters, particularly commercial leasing and also sales and acquisitions. Ms. Shin represents both landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing for office, retail, and industrial use. She also represents corporate entities and individuals, including developers, in connection with the purchase and sale of real estate used for commercial purposes and for future residential purposes.
Ms. Shin became associated with the firm in 1996 and became counsel in 2002.
Representative Matters
· Represent a national real estate investment company, as landlord, in the leasing of The Park Avenue at Morris County office complex (totaling almost 2,000,000 square feet) in Florham Park, New Jersey
· Represent a joint venture with a national, institutional pension fund, as landlord, in the leasing of The Center of Morris County in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township
· Represent a national real estate investment company, as landlord, in the leasing of the Mountain View Corporate Center in Bernards Township, New Jersey
· Represent a national retailer in the sale of certain properties nationwide
· Represented a national financial institution, as tenant, to lease retail space throughout New Jersey
· Represented a national financial institution, as tenant, to lease five buildings (totaling over 815,000 square feet) in a single transaction in New Jersey
· Represented a national, institutional pension fund, as landlord, in the leasing of two buildings at The Offices at Bedminster
· Represented a joint venture, as landlord, in the leasing of a building containing over 200,000 square feet at Giralda Farms in Madison, New Jersey
· Represented a joint venture, as landlord, in the leasing of a 410,000 square foot office building in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey to a national financial institution
