Innovation Transfer

  • Advise clients in partnership with GT's team of technology transfer professionals, drawing on their experience in a variety of markets
  • Identify target markets, and write patents with an understanding of those markets, to help clients develop potential revenue streams for their patents
  • Identify business models and evaluate potential partners for optimal market entrance
  • Draw on our knowledge regarding licensing, joint-venture and spin-out opportunities

  • Represent clients around the world in enforcing IP and other global obligations under the WTO treaty in all aspects of WTO dispute settlement
  • Counsel multinational manufacturers, importers and exporters in structuring their organizations and trade practices to help them minimize duties and non-monetary barriers to international trade
  • Advise foreign governments, trade associations, industry sectors and individual clients on the complex web of laws and regulations that governs trade across national borders
  • Provide counseling on the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and the provisions for protecting IP rights in numerous other international regional and bilateral agreements
  • Represent clients in trade regulatory proceedings conducted by the International Trade Commission, the International Trade Administration of the Department of Commerce and the Office of the United States Trade Representative
  • Represent parties in appeals of determinations by these agencies before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals
  • Advise on various aspects of competition law, including federal and state laws regarding antitrust, price discrimination and unfair competition

Food and Drug Administration

  • Advise companies that manufacture and market products regulated by the FDA, as well as home health care, physicians and long-term care organizations
  • Shepherd clients registrations, approvals and clearances through the proper channels
  • Provide advice on product labeling requirements
