Practice/Industry Group Overview

The Insurance Recovery and Advisory Group is an integrated network of professionals who understand the insurance industry and use this knowledge to help firm clients anticipate problems and devise practical solutions, typically without litigation.

Services Available

We offer two broad types of services to our clients:

Insurance Counseling – Clients find our counseling services helpful for recommendation of insurance products, and negotiation of policy terms. Greenberg Traurig works closely with clients’ brokers to provide a “second look” at coverages before they are bound. We have reviewed property and liability insurance programs for some of America's most well known corporations and routinely advise clients on D&O insurance matters.

Claims Settlement and Litigation – Our claims settlement and litigation services start by identifying the best approach for recovery. Our attorneys have found that litigation is not always necessary to accomplish a successful settlement. We have successfully negotiated settlements in complex D&O, general liability, crime, and property insurance disputes without resorting to litigation.
