Mr. Amber is the chair of the Corporate/Securities/Tax section where he has a broad range of experience in finance and related matters, ranging from commercial loans to IPOs and other securities offerings to mergers and acquisitions. He also counsels clients on assorted transactional and corporate matters such as stock options and other equity compensation plans, joint ventures, SEC reporting and the like. He was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of, Inc. during 1999 and 2000, gaining experience and insight into issues from a client perspective. Mr. Amber was also on the board of directors of SSP Solutions Inc., a publicly traded company (Nasdaq NMS: SSPX) until its acquisition in August 2004.
