Gregg H. Ginn

Gregg guides clients through the maze of federal laws and regulations governing their employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements. His core expertise is in two statutes: the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), and the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (“Code”) relating to retirement benefits (pension, 401(k) and 403(b) benefits), welfare benefits (health, life, disability, and severance benefits), deferred compensation (457 plans and plans subject to 409A) and executive compensation (incentive plans and equity-based arrangements). He practices exclusively in these areas, and has extensive experience advising clients on fiduciary standards under ERISA and tax qualification requirements under the Code; drafting plans, committee charters, investment policy statements and executive compensation arrangements; and occasionally representing clients in ERISA litigation.
