Experience Mr. Lehrer is an attorney who is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate Law. He has extensive experience working on a variety of sophisticated and complex real estate and business transactions. He represents developers, lenders, financial institutions, landlords and tenants, public and private companies, and real estate investment trusts. For the last several years he has handled the acquisition of commercial real estate for a major real estate investment trust with an emphasis on commercial retail development. Mr. Lehrer provides comprehensive legal services in all phases of real estate development including the negotiation of contracts, leases, ground leases, easements, lender documentation, condominiums, homeowners association, land use and other commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an Attorney Advisor with the United States Small Business Administration. Background Mr. Lehrer was born in Long Island, New York. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1987 from the University of South Florida. Mr. Lehrer received his J.D. with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1992 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in September of that same year.
