Guangqin Wei is a corporate special counsel resident in Fried Frank's Hong Kong office. He joined the Firm's New York office in 2004 and relocated to our Hong Kong office in 2007.

After serving as an Associate Advisor to the Strategic Planning and Development Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission from July 2009 to October 2010, he rejoined the Firm's Hong Kong office in October 2010.
Mr. Wei concentrates his practice in corporate finance and securities laws and has represented both issuers and underwriters in a variety of financing transactions, including initial public offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings and cross-border financings, as well as debt restructurings. He also advises clients on securities law and corporate governance matters.
