Guna Kirhnere Rogers is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, and a member of the firm's Litigation Department, as well as the Policyholder Insurance Recovery and Counseling Group.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ms. Rogers worked in the information technology field. Her responsibilities included leading large-scale technology implementations, advising company management on the business and financial benefits of new technologies, and negotiating system purchase and support agreements.
Ms. Rogers received her A.S. in computer information systems from Indiana Vocational Technical College - Indianapolis, her B.A. from Indiana University, and her M.B.A. from Butler University. She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Rogers participated in the Judicial Externship Program in the fall of 2006 serving as a clerk for the Honorable David F. Hamilton of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, and was a Dean's Tutorial Society board member.
Ms. Rogers is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations, American Bar Association, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
Ms. Rogers is fluent in Latvian and has knowledge of Russian.
