Hannah is an Associate with Boughton Law practising primarily in the areas of Corporate/Commercial and Aboriginal Law in both B.C. and the Yukon. Her focus is in First Nations economic development and she has an ancillary practice in leasing and real estate law.
Hannah's legal practice focuses on advising both First Nations and non-First Nations clients on the creation of corporations, partnerships and joint ventures. She is also experienced in various corporate transactions including shareholder agreements and share and asset purchases.
In regards to Hannah's Aboriginal Law capacity, she has represented various First Nations during their land claim negotiations and settlements. Hannah advises on various First Nations lands and governance issues, and assists her clients in the drafting of various laws, policies and protocols. Hannah also has experience in drafting and negotiating access, participation, traditional knowledge and impact-benefit / participation agreements, and in creating First Nations land policies and internal land registries.
Hannah was a summer student with Boughton Law in 2009. She subsequently returned to the Firm to complete her articles in May 2011.
