Heather LaSalle is an associate in the firm's commercial litigation section. Her main areas of practice include bankruptcy, creditor rights, commercial disputes and consumer finance litigation. Heather regularly represents creditors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy proceedings. Her practice encompasses motions to lift stay, objections to confirmation of plans, reaffirmation agreements, obtaining adequate protection orders, objecting to discharge, valuation hearings, adversary proceedings and defense of preferential transfer actions. In addition, Heather represents creditors in matters involving the sequestration/replevin of financed equipment, the recovery of leased equipment under the Louisiana Lease of Movables Act and deficiency actions. Heather graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2007, where she was the Editor and Chief of Loyola Maritime Law Journal and the recipient of numerous academic awards.
