Heather Burgi is an associate in the Vancouver office of Davis LLP where she practices general corporate commercial and mining law. Her practice involves purchases and sales of businesses, lending and financing transactions, and advising clients on a variety of commercial contracts. She also assists in competition matters. Ms. Burgi articled at Davis LLP and joined the firm as an associate in 2010.
Ms. Burgi holds a Juris Doctor, a Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science (Combined Honours Geology and Geophysics) from the University of British Columbia.
Recognition
While attending law school, Ms. Burgi received a Panvini Scholarship in Law and a Law Foundation Scholarship for overall academic achievement as well as scholarships for highest standing in Real Estate Transactions and Industrial and Intellectual Property. She also received a John K Campbell Scholarship for interest in the mining industry.
During her undergraduate degree, Ms. Burgi received several awards, most notably an Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Achievement Award in Geosciences.
